What People Say?
I wouldn't be able to travel to San Diego due to travel restrictions. Thank you to the amazing @wieilc and @IEEEWIE teams for holding such a great virtual event with inspirational speakers. It was my first time to attend, but it will not be my last one.
This online forum was excellent. I could not have participated otherwise. I hope we continue in future years to make this event accessible online!

The safety and well-being of our participants is our priority. With the continued resurgence of COVID-19 along with the continued CDC guidelines prohibiting large or even moderately-sized public gatherings, it makes it an impossibility to hold the in-person event as originally planned. The organizing committee is moving 2021 WIE ILC to a fully virtual conference. We were looking forward to seeing everyone in San Diego 2021 but we are excited for the opportunity to innovate an engaging virtual conference. The organizing committee is now working to create a virtual conference that will be rewarding for both presenters and attendees. We are hopeful we will see you in San Diego in 2022.
