Call for Local Volunteers!
We are looking for local volunteers to help onsite during the 2025 IEEE WIE ILC, which is being held on 15-16 May at the Signia by Hilton, San Jose, CA. The following are the available positions
- Registration Desk: Assisting with attendee check-ins, distributing badges, and providing general information.
- Session Chair/Moderator: Managing the flow of presentations, introducing speakers, and facilitating Q&A sessions.
- Technical Support: Helping with audio-visual equipment, ensuring presentations run smoothly.
- Logistics and Setup: Assisting with the setup and teardown of conference spaces, signage, and materials.
- Social Media and Communications: Assisting the Social Media committee with live streaming and engaging with attendees online.
- Hospitality and Guest Services: Welcoming attendees, providing directions, and assisting with any special needs.
- Speaker Liaison: Coordinating with speakers to ensure they have everything they need for their presentations.
If you are selected as a volunteer and commit to 5 hours, we will provide a complimentary registration for the conference.
