Kathy Herring Hayashi has over 30 years' experience in the semiconductor industry, specifically in electronic design automation. Since her education at UCSD, she has worked at various San Diego engineering companies such as Cadence Design Systems, Syntricity and Unisys, developing, deploying and analyzing advanced software tools used to create computer and mobile phone chips. She has held a variety of positions including leadership roles in technical development, applications engineering and information technology. Kathy currently works at Qualcomm in San Diego. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Athena Pinnacle Award Winner for Individual in Technology and in 2017, the San Diego County Engineering Council Dr. Thomas Avolt Kanneman Award for Outstanding Service. She is a member of the Athena Forum for Executive Women, 2019 Chair of the San Diego IEEE Section and a member of the 2019 Impact lead program, sponsored by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, providing foundations for civic and community engagement. She is also on the board of the San Diego Dance Theater. Kathy is an IEEE Senior Member and IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society member.

Felicia began her current career at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) after retiring as a Captain from the US Air Force in 2005. She started out in the AFRL Information Directorate working on distributed collaborative systems and currently works developing cyber protections for avionics systems in the AFRL Sensors Directorate. Felicia also manages a state-of-the-art lab supporting multiple in-house research missions and 100+ internal government and contractor users. She received her B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida (summa cum laude) and her M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology. She is happy to be supporting and empowering women as a committee member for both the WIE ILC and the WIE Forum USA East.

Preeti Kovvali, SMIEEE, has been an active volunteer with IEEE for 12 years and has involved in several volunteer leadership roles globally and held executive roles in IEEE WIE and IEEE Young Professionals. In her current role as a senior project manager in Tech Mahindra, she manages critical releases for leading Telecom customer in Belgium and also responsible for strategizing key process automation for a critical technology division. She previously was driving customer engagement and delivery excellence for key customers from UK, USA, Australia and Nordics that includes Fortune 500 organisations.Preeti was selected as an “Emerging Leader” in Tech Mahindra in 2016. She also received an award – ACE for consistently excelling in performance for the years 2015-2017. Preeti received an honor of IEEE MGA Young Professionals Award in 2016.

David specializes in providing research, analysis, guidance, support and subject matter expertise both directly and indirectly to staff and volunteers on conference processes, policies and procedures, sponsorships, tools, and event production best practices – for both face-to-face and digital events. David heads up the IEEE Virtual Events Center of Excellence, and is a certified Digital Events Strategist (DES). He serves as a member of PCMA’s Digital Experience Institute Advisory Board. Since 2014, he has produced over 80 online events, with nearly 7,000 total attendees.

Dilrukshi has been active in IEEE while holding many leadership roles in section level and society level. She was the secretary for the IEEE Sri Lanka section in 2018 and currently serving in the Membership Development committee for the IEEE Region 10. She is a founding member of IEEE WIE Sri Lanka section and currently serving as the Vice Chair for the WIE Sri Lanka and also serving in the Human Computer Interaction(HCI) Committee for Grace Hopper's Women in Computer Science conference since 2017. She has been awarded the prestige Google Women Tech Maker Scholarship and Outstanding Young researcher award from Heidelberg Laureate Forum , Germany in 2017 and Anita B.Org Scholarship for Grace Hopper conference in 2018. She is in her final year of the PhD , researching HCI and learning at scale. Other than IEEE, she is a “Women in Computer Science Activist”, working towards promoting diversity and inclusion while being voice for females in STEM field with a vision of fearless women for tech leadership.

He has also received the 2015 Outstanding IEEE Volunteer Award from IEEE Karachi Section.

Geetika Tandon is a Senior Director at Booz Allen Hamilton a technology consulting firm in the United States. She was born in Delhi, India and migrated to the United Stated in 1997. Geetika holds a Bachelors in Architecture from Delhi University, India, a Masters in Architecture from the University of Southern California and a Masters In Computer Science from University of California Santa Barbara. Geetika has over 18 years of Industry experience with technology consulting. She started her career in IBM as a developer working on voice and RFID solutions, moving to Middleware implementation and then acquired deep expertise in IT Modernization, helping multiple government agencies move to a Cloud and DevOps model. She currently holds 4 patent files and 4 IP publishes. She has also presented at various IEEE Software Technology Conferences, IEEE Women in Engineering summits and IBM Technology Conferences at various occasions.Ms. Tandon is a member of the IEEE software Technology Group, IEEE Women in Leadership forum and the Society of Women Engineers. She has also been a board member of ASEI, led the Women in Technology group in the DC Area within Deloitte and has been a speaker on STEM at the white house on women and girls.
